How CatchMeOffline actually works

CMO Editorial5 min read

Most dating apps ask you to swipe first and hope later. CatchMeOffline flips that order. You verify who you are, you decide who can see you, and the app quietly does the rest — surfacing possibility only when two members opt in to be near each other, in real life.

It starts with a scan. Every profile carries a private, encrypted marker. When another verified member is within a room of you — a bar, a gallery, a rooftop — the app can gently hint that a mutual match is nearby. Neither of you sees the other unless both of you say yes.

That single design choice removes ninety percent of what makes online dating tiring. No inbox to clear. No ghosting to interpret. If you didn't opt in, you weren't seen. If you did, the person you're about to say hello to has already said hello back.

The rest of the product — the identity check, the intent field, the members-only venues — exists to protect that first moment. We built CatchMeOffline for people who'd rather have three real conversations this month than three hundred conversations that go nowhere.

You can join early access below. Meeting starts the moment you show up.
